Philip A. Samaripa

September 26, 1953 ~ June 1, 2008

SAMARIPA, Philip A., passed away on June 1, 2008 at the age 54 in Oklahoma City, OK. In life Philip was a much loved father, brother, son, uncle and friend and will forever be in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

Philip's passion was hunting and fishing with family from Wagoner, OK and was a member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church. Philip was born to Joe and Rogelia Samaripa on September 26, 1953 in Bartlesville, OK.

He was preceded in death by both parents.

Philip leaves behind two daughters, Marissa Samaripa and Susan Swift, son Eddie Swift, brothers David and his wife Verna Samaripa of Choctaw, OK, James Samaripa and his fiance' Cathy Wombacher of Houston, TX, sister Pat and her husband Rick Painter of Midwest City, OK and grandson Kadrick Swift.

Philip was also a devoted uncle to several nieces, nephews and great-nieces. Philip filled many lives with much love and joy and he will truly be missed by all.

A wake will be held at St. James the Greater Catholic Church on Sunday June 8, 2008 at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 10:00 am at St. James the Greater Catholic Church. The family requests that a donation be made in the name of Philip Samaripa to Marissa Samaripa in lieu of flowers.
