Louis B. Saied

Louis B. Saied, 78, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Central Church of Christ Chapel with Dick Marcear officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Mr. Saied was born in Healdton, Okla. He was a respected business man in the Panhandle area who owned clothing stores beginning in Memphis. He moved to Perryton in 1959 and lived there for 22 years. He then moved to Amarillo in 1981. He owned clothing stores in Perryton, Pampa, Plainview and Amarillo. He was a Mason. He married Kay Anglin in Las Vegas on April 3, 1993.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dollie Saied; a daughter; two brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Georgia Kay Coon and Lou Carol Conley, both of Amarillo; a son, Steven Louis Saied of Amarillo; two stepsons, Shawn Eastep and Christopher Eastep, both of Amarillo; a sister, Najla Saied of Childress; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials be to American Kidney Fund of West Texas, 5920 W. Amarillo Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106 or American Heart Association, 2404 W. Seventh Ave., Amarillo, TX 79106.
