A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, 10:00 AM, August 12, 2023 at Crestview Baptist Church, 38 Indian Hills Rd, Ponca City, OK 74604 with Pastor Frank Hopkins officiating.

Ben was born on February 14, 1956 to Harold Alvin Sadler and Twilla (Mulhern) Sadler in St. Joseph, MO.

Ben was born to work with his hands as a mechanic. He was a mentor to many. He started in Waynesville, MO and St. Roberts, MO, and moved back to St. Joseph, MO, where he met his life partner and friend Joby Smith in 1981. They were married May 7, 1982, where the two made a home with their two children Tripper Lee and Nile Leslie in St. Joseph, MO. He and Joby moved to Ponca City in 1983 and have lived here since.

He was a mechanic at several service centers as well as went to automotive classes to learn more about the more modern cars. He was a tremendous fan of NASCAR, where he went to Talladega, Kansas, and Texas Motor Speedways. He and his wife loved going to music concerts and was good at telling silly stories. He loved to make people laugh. His customers became his friends.

Please think of some silly stories to share at his Celebration of Life. He will be greatly missed by all.
