Angela Lavonne (Royster) Russo
April 21, 1948 ~ October 16, 2013

Russo, Angela Lavonne, 65, of Oklahoma City, died October 16, 2013 at Midwest City Regional Hospital. Born April 21, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland to Lavonia and Johnny Royster, both deceased. Angela grew up in Metropolitan Methodist Church. She graduated Morgan State College with a Masters" Degree in Education, and she was a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Angela devoted her life to the field of education, both in the US and abroad, and last taught at Jefferson Middle School in OKC, OK.

Angela is survived by her cherished daughter Tiffany Lavonne Brown-Cunningham, three beloved grandchildren; Naudia, Chloe, and Brielle, two adoring siblings Barbara Eklof and Donald White, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 3 PM Barnes Friederich Funeral Home in Midwest City.

A viewing will held on Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 8 PM.
