Maria Castorena Ruiz

April 3, 1927 ~ January 13, 2018

Mrs. Maria C. Ruiz of Bartlesville, OK passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the age of 90.

Maria was born to parents Guadalupe and Soledad on April 3, 1927 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. 

Maria married Ruperto Ruiz in 1944, and the couple had five children. Maria was a stay at home mother raising her 5 beautiful children.

Maria is survived by her daughters, Maria Olga Herrera; Celina Ruiz, Elizabeth Dobbs, Gricelda Jaggers; her son, Roberto Ruiz; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and twenty-two great great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ruperto; and her parents, Guadalupe and Soledad.

A viewing of the body was made available to the public at Stumpff Funeral Home on January 14th. A memorial service was held on January 15th at 1:00PM for family and friends.
