David Shane Rudolph

David Shane Rudolph
July 10, 1969 ~ May 1, 2020

Shane was born July 10, 1969 and was raised in Yukon, OK. He graduated from Yukon High school. Shane later served in the U.S Navy where he fought in Operation Desert Storm. Post his military discharge, he met his future wife, Stephanie Gilbert, at a Valentine's Day party and they were later married on January 1, 1994.

Shortly after getting married, he began to pursue his passion for computers. This led to a very successful 20+ year career in technology. Throughout his career, he worked for many prestigious companies and agencies such as IBM and NASA. Even outside of work, he was everybody's go-to tech guy whenever they had questions or needed help.

Due to his line of work, Shane was an avid traveler and was able to explore countless countries. He never returned empty handed either. Shane often had a new snow globe or trinket for his wife and daughters on his return. He shared his love of travel with his family and whenever possible took them on trips.

Not to be forgotten, Shane was a lover of all animals. He called his home Noah's Ark and would take just about any neighborhood stray cat that crossed his path. You could catch him on any given morning on the back porch where he'd be drinking his coffee and spending time with his fur babies.

Shane was loved by many and will be missed deeply. Viewing will be Tuesday, May 5 from 9am-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Private Service will be 10:30am, Wednesday, May 6 in Mercer-Adams Chapel.
