Viola Josie (Pottharst) Rowland

1921 ~ May 2, 2018

Viola, beloved wife of Alton H. Rowland (deceased), died May 2, 2018, at Saint Simeon's Episcopal Home, Tulsa, Ok.

 She was born in New Orleans, LA. in 1921.

She is survived by daughter Sally R. Walker of Carrollton, TX, grandchildren John Walker, Keith Walker (Mary), Rachel W. Combe' (Roel) and great grandchildren Savannah Walker, Adalynn Walker and Bente Combe'; daughter Celia R. Maycrink of Tulsa, OK, grandchildren Sarah M. Guthery (Chris), Susan M. Brokaw (Chris), Carolyn Maycrink, and great grandchildren Noah Guthery, Max Guthery and Jack Fowler; and daughter Jean R. Reed of Austin, Tx, and grandchildren Nick Reed and Jack Reed.

Her son, David P. Rowland, predeceased her.

A memorial service will be held at Saint John's Episcopal Church in Tulsa, OK, on June 16, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to Saint Simeon's Foundation, 3701 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Tulsa, OK 74106.
