Patricia Lynne “Patty” (Smith) Rowland

Patricia Lynne “Patty” (Smith) Rowland
January 6, 1971 ~ December 28, 2024

Patricia Lynne “Patty” Rowland, 53, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at her home in Little, Oklahoma.

Patty was born on January 6, 1971, in Enid, Oklahoma to Jimmy W. and Marsha Lynne (Daniels) Smith. On August 19, 1989, she married James Rowland. Patty attended school in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1990.

Patty was a CNA for 20 years. She worked as a CNA and cook at Sunnyside Nursing Home in Enid, and Seminole Nursing Home at different points in her career. She retired from Seminole Nursing Home in 2015.

Patty enjoyed reading and listening to audiobooks and watching Disney movies. First and foremost, she was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Patty’s grandchildren were her life. She loved them and cherished them. You could often find her wrestling with them on the floor and spoiling them with toys and ice cream. Patty was a stubborn and strong-willed woman, and she passes that trait to the next generations.

Patty was preceded in death by her mother, Marsha Lynne Smith in 2012.

She is survived by her husband, James Rowland; her father, Jimmy W. Smith and his partner, Steve Kopp; children, Matthew Rowland and the mother of his child, Natalie Ramsey, Justin Rowland and his wife, Danielle Rowland, and Erika Griffin and her husband, Matthew Griffin; her sister, Tracie Smith; grandchildren, Issac Rowland, Jeremiah Rowland, Elijah Rowland, Kynzlee Rowland, Nehemiah Rowland, Elizabeth Griffin, Colton Rowland, and Maverick Griffin; her fur-baby and companion, Duke; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
