Charles Gerald "Jerry" Roselius

November 1, 1922 ~ July 25, 2012

Charles Gerald "Jerry" Roselius, 89, resident of Dewey, died Wednesday July 25, 2012.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday August 4, 2012 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Mark Bright of the Rivercross Hospice officiating.

Charles Gerald Roselius was born on November 1, 1922 at Etowah, Oklahoma the son of Charles Monroe and Mary Ellen (McVay) Roselius. He was raised in the Etowah area. Jerry served in the Army Air Corps during WW II as a Bomber Pilot. He married Vera Lee Looney on November 24, 1946 at Rogers, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on January 21, 2005. Jerry graduated from the University of Arkansas. He had worked as a Purchasing Agent for the Phillips Petroleum Company.

Jerry is survived by his daughter Susan Roselius Lester of Dewey, two grandsons, Michael Lester and his wife Sunny of Broken Arrow and Jeffery Lester and his wife Andie of Oklahoma City and three great grandchildren, Nicholas Lester, Strider Lester and Brinkley Lester.
