Chris Rose
July 22, 1961 ~ October 29, 2022

Chris Rose entered into this life on Saturday, July 22, 1961 in Houston, Texas to Carl George Rose and Cora Lee (Graham) Rose. He departed this life on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 in Calera, Oklahoma at the age of 61.

Chris grew up in Houston and is a graduate of North Shore High School and later Houston Tech School. He came to Durant in 1981 where he married the love of his life, CJ Wallace, on August 20th, 1983. Chris worked as a mechanic and truck driver all of his life. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and maintaining his guns. Chris and CJ are members of the Faith Lutheran Church.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Diane Gobert.

He is survived by his wife, CJ, of the home; daughters, Amy Goggans and her husband, David, of Durant, and Cathy Boone and her husband, Justin, of Durant; a son, TJ “Thomas” Rose and his wife, Shana, of Caddo; brothers, Bobby Carl Rose and his wife, Becky, of Hankamer, TX, and Gary Rose of Cushing, OK; sister, Brenda Elliott and her husband, Mac, of Crosby, TX; grandchildren Nicki Henry and her son Blaine, Derrick Boone and his wife Nicole and their daughter Hadlee Marie, Ashly Dowd and her husband Kyle and their son Gunner, Calee Russell and husband Levi, and Talon Rose; and other extended family members and church family.

Memorial services to celebrate Chris’ life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, Nov. 5th, at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Jerry Peterson officiating.
