October 13, 1985 ~ July 6, 2025

A Celebration of Life services for Krystel Ann Rogers, 39, of Calera will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 10th, 2025 at Brown’s Funeral chapel in Durant. Krystel passed from this life on July 6th, 2025 after receiving cancer diagnosis 20 months ago.

Krystel Ann Rogers was born on Sunday, October 13th, 1985 in Madill, Oklahoma to Johnny Dwayne Rogers and Mona Kathlyn (Halferty) Rogers. Krystel was raised and graduated at Kingston High School with the class of 2004. After graduation, she attended Murray St. College in Tishomingo pursuing a Nursing degree. Krystel worked as an LPN for a short time as she had a heart for the elderly and handicapped.

Krystel was the first grandchild in the family and her family would say she was very spoiled. She loved Little Mermaid as a child and her favorite colors were black, purple, and teal. Krystel loved joking and laughing with her family and friends. Her favorite actress was Betty White and tv show was The Golden Girls, and enjoyed going to live comedy shows. She loved all Disney movies with most recent favorite movie being Nightmare before Christmas. Halloween and Fall were her favorite times of the year and always looked forward to the cooler temperatures. Krystel’s son, Brentlee, was her everything and pride and joy.

Krystel was preceded in death by her dad, Johnny Rogers in 2019; her step-dad, Wesley “Dink” Dillard; her grandparents Bill and Glenda Rogers, Carolyne and James Sample, and Rex Halferty.

She is survived by her son, Brentlee Lynn Tucker of Caney; her mother, Mona Rogers of Achille; a brother, Eric Rogers of Durant; her fiancé, Justin Schulze and bonus daughter Aubrey of Calera; grandmother, Inez Halferty of Ardmore; uncle, Ronnie Rogers of Colbert; aunts, Mary Montoya and Beth Rogers both of Calera; and nephews, Braxton and Benjamin Rogers of Durant.
