Bobby Gene Robinson

January 18, 1937 ~ August 19, 2003

Services: Friday, Aug. 22, 9:30 a.m.

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., for Bobby Gene Robinson, who was born on January 18, 1937, in Holdenville, Oklahoma and went to heaven on August 19, 2003.

Bob spent most of his life in the construction business. He was employed by Granite Construction for 24 years. He served in the U. S. Army during the Panama Canal Crisis. Bob was a devoted father and grandfather. He valued his family more than his own life. He had a special love for baseball. As a young man he played for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He coached his children's teams for many years. Bob enjoyed watching North High games, his grandchildren's games and the Atlanta Braves. He also loved to play golf with his friends Roger and Lloyd. His greatest love was teaching his grandson Jake to hit that little ball. He bought him his first set of golf clubs. Jake is three years old. Bob's regular pastime was coffee at Zingos.

Bob is survived by his son, A. J. Robinson and wife Rhonda; his daughter, Angela Dawn Underwood and husband Mark and his four grandchildren, Christen Jade Robinson, Jake Robinson, Brianna Caroline Underwood and Gennea Dawn Underwood.

No Visitation is scheduled.
