Michael Clay Robertson

July 1, 1975 ~ January 6, 2022

Michael Clay Robertson, 46, passed from this life on Thursday, January 6, 2022. He was born July 1, 1975 to Betty Teafatiller and Clay Bonner Robertson in Ardmore.

Michael was a 1993 graduate of Marietta High School. After graduation he joined his father and brother in the family business, Robertson's Hams.

On October 23, 1999 he married Crystal Rogers in Marietta. They had three children, Sydney, Porter and Hap. He enjoyed time spent with his family, especially their vacations together in St. John. He also had many good times on camping adventures with his friends and spending quality time on "his hill". He was known to be an eclectic hobbyist throughout the years. Astronomy, geocaching, a firearms enthusiast, playing games, cars and any kind of watercraft were a few of his favorites.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Betty Robertson, sister, Susan Robertson, and grandparents, V.B. "Tup" and Wanda Robertson and Vernon and Mattie Teafatiller.

Survivors include his wife, Crystal Robertson; son, Porter Robertson; daughters, Sydney and Hap Robertson; father, Clay Robertson and wife Suzanna; brother, Rob Robertson and wife Brenda; sister, Leslie Weddige and husband Karl; numerous nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Lance Shankles.

A "Celebration of Mike's Life" was held on Sunday, January 9 at the home of his father, Clay.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Cross Timbers Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
