Brenda Alene (Powell) Robertson
April 19, 1944 ~ June 15, 2011 (age 67)

Robertson, Brenda Alene, 67, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 in Norman, Oklahoma.  She was born April 19, 1944 in Ft. Gaines, Georgia to Paul and Irene (Lindsey) Powell.  

Brenda was a waitress at Furr's Cafeteria for 25 years.  She enjoyed playing her keyboard, reading her Bible and attending church, shopping and visiting with her many friends at her residence, the Savannah House Apartments in Norman.  She also enjoyed being a volunteer at Norman Regional Hospital, caring and helping other people. Brenda's greatest love was being a grandmother to her two grandchildren.

Brenda is survived by her three sons, Paul Robertson and wife Shannon of White City, Kansas, Charles Robertson of Norman and Tripp Robertson and wife Tonya of OKC; two brothers, Charles Powell and wife Marcia and Jerry Powell and wife Ruth both of Ft. Gaines, GA; two sisters, Janice Powell McAlister and husband John of Cumming, GA and Paula Powell Moore and husband Emory of Seneca, SC; two grandchildren, Tabitha Carson of OKC and Greg Robertson of White City, Kansas; and many more relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jackie Wayne Powell.  

Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Bethel Baptist Church, 1717 W. Lindsey St., Norman under the direction of the Havenbrook Funeral Home.
