Juanita (Leal) Roberts

Juanita (Leal) Roberts
July 04, 1962 ~ February 11, 2021

Juanita Leal Roberts, age 58, of Oklahoma City, left this world on February 11, 2021. She was born July 4, 1962 to Maria Gutierrez and Gumecindo Leal in Harlingen, TX. Juanita is survived by her two children: Verner “Robbie” Roberts IV and Tiffany Roberts; her sister, Magdalena Bautista; two grandchildren, Aiden and Oliver Roberts; and her niece, Sophia Montalvo as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She will forever remain in our minds as someone with an extraordinary, caring heart. It is with that heart that she bought a childcare center to take care of all “her babies.” She was proud of owning her own daycare. It was one of her greatest passions in life. It did not matter if you were not related by blood, those children trusted in her care would get all the same love and affection that she showed her own grandbabies. They were all spoiled rotten (if you know, you know).

Her caring heart extended to the families of those children. She would do whatever she could to help those struggling, whether it was offering them a gallon of milk or trying to extend the timeframe for payments. She was a firm believer in helping the community. The memories of her kind heart and how happy she was just to be driving around in her jeep with the top off, grandbabies strapped in, and jamming out to country songs are something her family and friends will cherish forever.
