Carman (Compton) Robbins

January 28, 1923 ~ February 28, 2008

There will be no service for Carman Compton Robbins, 85, formerly of Watonga. Arrangements are by All Faiths Funeral Home, Austin, Texas. 

She was born Jan. 28, 1923, in Broken Bow to John Monroe and Mittie Carl Compton and died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, in Lockhart, Texas. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her children, John, Rick and Laura Robbins; four sisters, Thelma Gungoll of Enid, Sherril Smith, Marie Dickson and Margaret Benway; one brother, Bryan Compton of Watonga; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 1911 Corporate Dr. Suite 104, San Marcos, TX 78666; First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1745, San Marcos, TX 78667; Alzheimer's Association, 3429 Executive Center Dr., Suite 100, Austin, TX 78731; or the charity of donor's choice.
