Thomas Dennis Rivers

Thomas Dennis Rivers
November 21, 1939 ~ January 22, 2025

On January 22, 2025, Thomas Dennis Rivers, son of Harvy Rivers and Eva Louvina Harmon, passed from this earth in Tulsa, Ok. Tom was 85 years old and lived in Sapulpa, OK all his life. Tom was born on November 21, 1939, and graduated from Sapulpa High School.

On February 15th, 1958, he married Jeanetta Mae Chastain and they had 2 children, Thomas Wayne Rivers (Marsha) of Broken Arrow, OK and Pamela Lynne Rivers Hohman (Russell) of Sapulpa, OK.

On March 25, 2019, his beloved wife of 61 years passed away. He then married Patsy Ragland of Sapulpa, OK. Tom and Patsy had 5 wonderful happy years together.

Tom was a talented guitarist and played many venues in the Tulsa and surrounding areas in the 1970s and 80s.

He was a devout Christian, a loving father and husband.

Tom is survived by his wife Patsy, his 2 children, 6 grandchildren, Jonathan Rivers (Vivi), Lauren Fry (Stephen), Channing Riggs (Alex), Matthew Cook (Amanda), Dylan Hohman, Jordan Morris (Weston) and 9 great grandchildren, Diego, Lucas, Rafael, Felix, Hunter, Alexandra, Harper, Owen and Adalyn.

He is also survived by his sister Louvina Sue Gorrell of Sapulpa, OK and his niece Eve Lorraine Gorrell of Sapulpa OK.

Viewing is scheduled for Monday, January 27, 2025 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Green Hill Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 10:am at Green Hill Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Green Hill Funeral Home.
