Amanda Isabel Rivera-Costas

Amanda Isabel Rivera-Costas
September 06, 1982 ~ May 17, 2018

Please come and help celebrate the sunrise and sunset of one of Gods Blessed angels' Amanda Isabel RiveraCostas' lovingly known to family as 'Mandye' and to friends she was 'MO-HAWK'.

Born by grace on:  September 6, 1982 at Reynolds Army Hospital Ft. Sill, Oklahoma - and slipped quietly into the arms of our HEAVENLY FATHER on May 17, 2018 at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas where she resided for the last two years.

Her parents Guido RiveraCostas and Paula Revels are thankful GOD blessed them with a beautiful baby girl and they were able to adore her life for a short 35 years.

She is survived by four children:  Maranda 19, Tovan 12, Freedom 8, and Brenden 6.  Her parents Paula Revels and Guido Rivera Costas.  Three brothers and  five  sisters: Ronald Johnson, 33, wife Teyonna  of Lawton, Oklahoma;  Mychal Edler, 31 fiancé Ashleigh of Ft. Dodge, Iowa; Chris, 27 and wife Asia Riley of Norman, Oklahoma; Sandra  Whitlow, 25, of Kansas City, Mo., Deza Riley, 25 of Norman, Oklahoma; Mónica Riley, 23, of Norman, Oklahoma; Keyunta Riley,23, of Norman, Oklahoma. A host of Aunts and Uncles, a season of nieces, nephews and cousins: and a mass of friends from all over the world.  Preceded in death are her grandparents Paul and Elizabeth Rooks and her Aunt Wynde Crandall, Parents-in-law Sandra Steinway and Randy Barwick.

Amanda attended and graduated from Norman High School.  She enjoyed listening to music, reading novels and being amongst friends and family. Her laugh and smile were very contagious and will be missed by many.  Amanda sought after many careers she enjoyed and was comfortable working in the food industry, but her lifetime dream was to attend college to become a para-legal, and then a lawyer. She was very optimist, free spirited and a very open-minded to life.  To understand her is to know her, was to love her.  I truly believe the affirmation from God that she's right there with him....in THAT better place.

We, the family would like to extend our gratitude to Whinery-Huddleston for their support, patience and understanding, to all friends and families that reached out to my family giving unconditional love, encouragement and well-wishings.
