Delores (Fabrizio) Ritter
November 24, 1946 ~ March 30, 2022

Delores Fabrizio Ritter, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, following a four-year battle with cancer. She was 75. Delores will be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at Trout Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Josh Garza officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK 74601.

Delores was born on November 24, 1946, to James (Jimmy) and Louise Mary (Cubbie) Fabrizio. Their home was the Italian community of Krebs, Oklahoma near McAlester.

She married Alfred (Al) Ritter on November 7, 1970, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Krebs. With that, she was soon to become a Highway Patrol wife traveling with her husband and son, David, through five OHP assignments. Upon finally locating in Ponca City, she followed David to his first day of school at Lincoln Elementary where she was employed in PCPS food service. Later she worked in School System support at both the old and new Lincoln School. Later she transferred to West Middle School as a custodian. Following her retirement, she briefly served as a Crossing Guard at Lincoln. From there she once more became employed part-time by the school system at Roosevelt Elementary as a custodian, eventually ending a 30-year career with the Ponca City Public School System.

She is survived by, her loving husband, Al Ritter, of 51 years; along with their son, David Ritter and his wife, Amber, of Perkins, OK. She was blessed with three grandchildren; Ethan, Demaree and Bauer Ritter.

Delores was proceeded in death by her parents and sisters, Mary McDougal, Phyllis Ann Doctorman, Anita Turner and Nephew, Michael Turner.
