Mary Ellen (Morton) Ritchey

July 5, 1954 ~ June 27, 2022

Mary Ellen Ritchey the daughter of Sterling and Thelma (English) Morton was born July 5, 1954, in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on June 27, 2022, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years, 11 months and 22 days.

Mary enjoyed life and she loved her family. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially planting flowers in the garden. She enjoyed going to the casino and shopping at yard sales. She also enjoyed traveling, picnics, and loved her dog Whiskey. She loved her granddaughter dearly and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mary touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and 18 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her daughter Heather Cassell of Hulbert; her brothers Ronald Suddarth of Tulsa, Sam Morton and wife Lawanna of Independence, MO; her sisters Debbie Rice and husband Odie of Independence, KS and Agnes Smith of McMinnville, OR; and her granddaughter Alayna Cassell of Hulbert, OK. Drew Cassell, Ben Cassell, William Chester, Jacob Bruce and William Brown will be serving as Pallbearers.

Funeral Service was held 10:00 AM, Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell, OK.
