Terry Ray Risner
March 22, 1957 ~ October 11, 2023

Terry Risner, age 66, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 11, 2023. Terry was born on March 22, 1957, in Durant, Oklahoma to Wendell and Marie Risner. On July 9, 1979, Terry married the love of his life Joyce (Grove) Risner. He worked in the trucking field. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and roping.

Terry is preceded in death by his grandparents, as well as aunts and uncles.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Joyce of the home. His son Bryce Risner and spouse Torri Johnston. Daughter Tera Lester and husband Torrey Lester. Son Chance Risner and spouse Summer Heck. Parents Wendell and Marie Risner. Brothers Jerry Risner, Jackie Risner, and wife Tracey Risner. Grandchildren Colby Cummins and fiancée Skyler White, Caleb Cummins, Maverick Lester, Bella Lester, Rainey Lester, and Chase Risner. Great grandchild Oaklynn Cummins. He also leaves behind many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 16th, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for visitation at Brown’s Funeral Service, Durant. Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Doshier, Roger Hedgecock, Eddie Crosby, Allen Stewart, John Cummins, brother Kerry Groce, and Buch Heflin.
