George Edd Risley
August 30, 1938 ~ March 02, 2017

George Edd Risley, 78, of Collinsville, OK passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in Collinsville. George was born on August 30, 1938 in Abilene, TX to George Ernest and Mary Saphrona (Hatchett) Risley. He married Mary (Northrup) Risley on May 1, 1965. George retired from American Airlines in 1996 as a Quality Assurance Inspector.

 George is survived by his wife Mary of the home; his children, Gary Edd Risley of Farmington, NM, Kae Lewis of Keller, TX, Laurie Ann Arellano of Topeka, KS, and Lisa Reed of Ponder, TX; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; and his brother Joe Dan Risley of Weatherford, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Lynn Risley.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George's name to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or online at alz.org.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville with Rev. Jim Carty officiating.
