Nancy Glee Rickerd

January 13, 1937 ~ September 18, 2019

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Nancy Glee Rickerd, 82, of Blackwell will be held privately at a later date.

She was born January 13, 1937 in Weatherford, Oklahoma and passed from this life on September 18, 2019 in Tonkawa, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Weatherford where she graduated from High School in 1955. On September 10, 1955 she married DeRoy Rickerd in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She then attended Southwestern State University and also worked for TG&Y. She then moved with her family to Hominy, Oklahoma where she worked for the County Tag Agency. Later, Nancy and family moved to Tonkawa, Oklahoma where she worked for Northern Oklahoma College. She then moved to Blackwell, Oklahoma where she worked for Conoco for several years. She helped with the books and operations for Rickerd’s Plumbing, Heating and Air in Blackwell, Oklahoma for over thirty-two years. She loved fishing, and arts and crafts of all kinds.

She is survived by her husband, DeRoy Rickerd, son, Roland Rickerd, grandson, Ross Rickerd, and brother, Lee Amen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Randy Rickerd, and siblings Fern Smalley, Daisy Neufield, Albert Amen.
