Marguerite Antoinette "Toni" Richardson
Friday, October 4th, 1935 ~ Wednesday, February 5th, 2020

Marguerite (Toni) Antoinette Richardson was welcomed home to be with her Lord Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Toni was born October 4th 1935 the daughter of Rudolph Warren and Martha (Georgius) Warren in Washington DC. Toni and her mother, along with others, helped start St Michaels Episcopal church in Arlington VA, and helped start her elementary school’s library. She was raised in Arlington, VA where she met and married James E. Richardson who preceded her in death on August 24th 1997. As an avid traveler, Toni was proud to have visited every state in the union including parts of Europe. Germany & Ireland were among her favorites. She loved her gardens & the birds that would arrive each season. In later years she volunteered for Meals on Wheels, American Red Cross, Sundowners, and Soonaires.

Toni is survived by her three children; Michael David, James Edward and Susan Marie Richardson San Souci, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 6:30p.m. Evening prayer vigil will be 6:30 p.m. Sunday, February 9 in the Vondel Smith Mortuary North Chapel, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd. Interment will be in Arlington, VA.
