Al Charles Rich

April 11, 1941 ~ August 30, 2010

Services for Al Charles Rich, 69, Grand Saline were held at 11 a.m., September 1 at First Assembly of God Church, Van Zandt, TX.

Burial was in the Sachse Cemetery, Sachse.

Mr. Rich passed away August 30, in Dallas.

He was born April 11, 1941 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to parents, Henry Anderson Rich and Lillian Pearl (Thompson) Rich.

He was a deacon for 10 years at First Assembly of God Church in Van. He was a member of the Southside Assembly of God Church in Garland for 30 plus years. He owned a furniture upholstery business.

He married Rita Faye Crawford December 2, 1960 and was approaching their 50th wedding anniversary.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Henry Rich; brothers, Ules and Alvin Rich; sisters, Nona and Betty.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Rich; sons, Rick Rich, Sand Flat and Ron Rich, Lindale; grandchildren, Kathely Rich, Cody Rich, and Chance Rich; brothers, Elgin, Earl, Harvey, Marvin and Floyd; sisters, Luetta Neal, Loretta Hipp, Birtha Yow and Barbara Tolleson.
