Susan Yvonne (Lehman) Ricco, age 61, of Wanette, Oklahoma.
Susan was born on October 19, 1964, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to Joseph Edward Lehman and Beverly Kay (Heath) Lehman. She grew up in Tribbey, Oklahoma, and attended school in Pauls Valley, Wanette, Tecumseh, and Macomb.
At the age of 19, Susan traveled to California to visit a friend who was living there. What was intended to be a short visit of a few weeks became a long-term stay. Susan went on to live in Orange County for nearly 30 years, residing in Costa Mesa, Lake Forest, and Rancho Santa Margarita. In 2015, she returned to Oklahoma, where she remained.
Susan worked throughout various industries over the years, bringing care, reliability, and pride to everything she did. She valued honest work and took satisfaction in doing things well, adding something meaningful wherever she went. While she was capable in many roles, her greatest calling was being a mother. She devoted herself fully to her sons, loving them deeply and raising them with strength, patience, and unwavering support.
Susan loved people and consistently put others before herself. She enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved being outdoors, and cherished all of her animals. She loved God, loved her family deeply, and was a loyal and devoted friend. She was often the one people turned to for comfort and understanding—quick to listen, steady in her support, and generous in her forgiveness.
Susan was preceded by her parents, Joseph Edward Lehman and Beverly Kay (Heath) Lehman; her brother, Jody Lehman; and her sister, Clistia Rushing.
She is survived by her sons, Vincenzo Biagio Ricco and Giordano Joseph Ricco, both of Newport Beach, California; her brothers, Gary Don Lehman of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Eric Wayne Lehman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Bryan Eliot Lehman and wife Elizabeth Erin Lehman of Chickasha, Oklahoma; her sister, Jamie Denise Lehman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
