April Gail Rhoads, age 54, of Lawton passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital.

April was born on July 28, 1962 in Lamesa, Texas to Clyde and Mary (Erwin) Rhoads. She grew up in Burnet, Texas and graduated from Burnet High School in 1980. In her free time, she enjoyed watching Law and Order and horror movies, but she loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jodell Rhoads and three grandparents, Estelle Erwin, Helen Rhoads and James Wilber Rhoads Sr.,

April is survived by her son, Garrick Hines of Lawton; her father, Clyde Rhoads and wife Cathy of Burnet, Texas; one sister, Cristie Church and husband Eugene of Lawton; one niece, Cheyenne Konarik of Oklahoma City and two brothers, Cris Rhoads and wife Michele of Milford, Pennsylvania and Mark Rhoads of Iowa Park, Texas and along with numerous other relatives and close friends.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service.
