James Claitor "Jim" Reynolds, Jr.
September 14, 1935 ~ August 29, 2017

James "Jim" C. Reynolds Jr. joined our Heavenly Father on August 29, 2017, after a prolonged and valiant battle against cancer. His son, James and daughter, Lisa, were with him at his home in Dallas, Texas, at the time of his passing. 

Jim was born in Jonesboro, Ark., to J.C. and Helen (Webb) Reynolds on Sept. 14, 1935. 

He grew up in Enid, Oklahoma, and graduated from Enid High School in 1953, joining the U.S. Air Force in December 1953. 

He served as a surgical technician in the Korean Conflict and left the air force in 1966 as a staff sergeant. 

Jim worked in sales for the majority of his adult life working in Enid, Oklahoma City, San Antonio, and Dallas, Texas. 
James C. Reynolds Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Helen Reynolds; first wife, Lola Arleta (Howard) Jones; second wife, Suzanne "Sue" Nora (Temple) Reynolds; and son, Thomas Michael Reynolds. 

Jim is survived by his sister, Carolyn W. Rathbun; son, James C. Reynolds III and wife Karen; daughters, Lisa K. Goin and husband Russell, and Anne L. Reynolds; stepchildren, Jay T. Reed, Robin R. Reed, and Cynthia L. Reed; 15 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. 

Memorial service is 8 p.m. today, Sept. 13, 2017, at The Branch Church, 3035 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. 

Interment is 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at the Dallas-Fort Worth Veterans Cemetery.
