Doris Alene (Powell) Reynolds
March 23, 1929 ~ September 14, 2019

Doris Alene Reynolds, resident of Ponca City, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019. She was 90 years old. A memorial ceremony will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Hartford Avenue Church of Christ. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Doris was born on March 23, 1929 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to her parents, Clon and Thelma (Briggs) Powell. She grew up in Hubbard field in Blackwell. Doris graduated from Haven High School as part of the class of 1947. She married John Reynolds soon after graduation on January 25, 1948 in Hutchinson, Kansas. They had three children: Greg, Jan, and Julie. Doris loved her family and enjoyed raising her children. She moved to Ponca City in 1980 to take care of her parents.

She will be missed by her children, Greg Reynolds and wife, Reiko of Long Beach, California, Jan Reynolds of Phoenix, Arizona and Julie Reynolds Denning of Phoenix, Arizona, granddaughter, Ana Beets and husband Jeff of Ponca City, Oklahoma, granddaughter, Asja DiMuria of Phoenix, Arizona, grandson, Jonathan Denning of Colorado, and great-granddaughter, Alivia Beets.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clon and Thelma and her husband, John Reynolds in 2015.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hartford Avenue Church of Christ, 1905 Joe Street, Ponca City, OK 74601.
