Francisco D. "Kiko" Reyes

July 2, 1923 ~ February 2, 2004

A Wake Service will be held tonight (Wednesday), February 4, at 7:00 p.m., in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd. and Graveside Services will be Thursday, February 5, 11:00 a.m., in Greenlawn Memorial Park, for Francisco D. Kiko Reyes, 80, of Bakersfield, who passed away February 2, 2004, at his home. Father Craig Harrison will officiate.

Mr. Reyes was born July 2, 1923, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and had been a resident of Kern County for 45 years. Daddy fought a lengthy battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Francisco Pancho Duran.

Our Daddy is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Dolores; his sons, Rogelio, Art, Ricardo, Fernando, Jose and Francisco Reyes Jr.; his daughters, Maria Luisa Val-Verde, Gloria Vasquez, Beatriz Mendoza, Irma R. Gonzalez and Felicitas Reyes; three brothers and five sisters from Eagle Pass, Texas. Our grandpa left behind 27 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Our Daddy will always be in our hearts and will be greatly missed. We will always Love You Daddy!

Special thanks to Dr. Kanamori, his staff at CBCC, Optimal Hospice Care, Family, Friends and Neighbors.

Pallbearers will be Rogelio, Arturo, Ricardo, Fernando, Jose and Francisco Reyes Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be his brother, Manuel Torres.

Visitation begins today at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Mortuary.
