November 2, 1942 ~ January 25, 2025

George K. Reust Sr left this earth for Heaven on January 25, 2025, at The Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. George Sr was born on November 2, 1942, in the Oslo Community in Texas, just South of Guymon, in the home of his grandpa and grandma Hill. His parents were Cyrus Hayes and Evelyn Nora (Hill) Reust. George was raised on the Reust homestead nine miles South of Guymon. George met his first love at 17 years of age. He married Mary Gaye Davison on July 20, 1963, in Clayton New Mexico. They made their home on the Reust Homestead for the first few years of their marriage. They welcomed their first child, a son, George K. Reust Jr. on August 1, 1965. Mary, their daughter, was born on August 15, 1967. They also had one granddaughter. George was widowed in 1995. In 1996 George met the second love of his life. He married Pauline Geist Neal on June 15, 1996, in Guymon Oklahoma. He was blessed with three more daughters and three granddaughters.

George and Mary Gaye made their forever home 11 miles South of Guymon in 1974. George and Mary Gaye farmed and raised cattle. In 1983 they took a leap of faith and started G & G Electronics. He was also an amateur radio operator and was instrumental in building a ham radio system to cover the Oklahoma and Texas panhandle region.

After remarrying, George and Pauline continued to operate G and G Electronics with the help of his children, George Jr and Mary. Pauline’s children and grandchildren quickly accepted George with love. George was a wonderful grandpa to his four granddaughters and later enjoyed being a great grandpa. When both George and Pauline retired, they spent time traveling with friends and family. They moved to Bartlesville in September 2023 to be closer to their medical care.

George is survived by his wife, Pauline, of Bartlesville, OK, his son George (Charlene) Reust Jr of Woodward, OK, his daughter Mary (Dale) Sell of Guymon OK, Janice Hinman, Patty (Jeff) Nichols, Sandra (Thad) Kent all of Bartlesville, OK.
