Edith Luise (Bogel) Reile
May 28, 1931 ~ February 14, 2022

Edith Luise Reile was born 28th May, 1931, in Unna/Westphalia, Germany, to Walter and Edith Bogel and died on Valentine's Day 2022 in her hometown of Velbert.

She lived in London, England, for a year and then went to work for her hometown newspaper Hellweger Anzeiger.

On 30 December 1958, she married Horst Reile and six years later had their first child, Anja-Christina, and in 1968 their son Carsten. Together they spent many exciting summers on the Atlantic coast near Bordeaux in France. Later on, they traveled all over the U.S. visiting their daughter and grandchildren, as well as many interesting places in Europe.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by her son, Carsten Reile of Cologne; daughter Christina Robinson and husband Herb of Enid; grandson Liam Bishop and granddaughter Emily Bishop, both of Enid; as well as relatives and friends in the U.S., Germany, England, and Switzerland.
