No services are planned for William Darrell Reed, 46, of Thackerville, who passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017, at his residence.
He was born December 12, 1970, in Gainesville, Texas, the son of Steven Darrell and Janeth Caryl Worton Reed. A 1989 graduated of Thackerville High School, William had made his home in Love County most of his life. A hard worker, he was employed as a finishing tech at Peterbilt in Denton, Texas.
William and the former Michelle Ann Dudek were married May 27, 2012. William loved to go 4-wheeling, fishing with his dad and sons, and also driving his Blazer on Red River. He was of the Protestant faith.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Chester and Era Lee Reed; maternal grandfather, James Worton; and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his parents, Steven and Janeth Reed of Thackerville; two sons, Waylon Darrell Reed and wife Kelli of Marietta and William Dawson Reed of the home; maternal grandmother, Mildred Hope Worton of Thackerville; brother, Charles Wesley Reed and wife Monica of Falconhead; two grandchildren, Jace William Reed and Levi Curtis Hank Reed; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
