James Paul Reed

December 18, 1961 ~ January 10, 2020

James Paul Reed, age 59, of Calera, passed away at his residence. James was born on December 18,1961 in Sherman Texas to Paul Ellis Reed and Laquita (Caughey) Armstrong. James enjoyed fishing and hunting as well as photography and was a member of the Episcopal church.

James is preceded in death by his father Paul Ellis Reed, Sisters Teresa L. Deeds and Paula J. Reed as well as many loved ones in Michigan

He is survived by his Mother Laquita Armstrong of Durant, OK., three sons Brandon James Reel of Cheyenne, WY., Justin Aaron Michaux and wife Samantha of Cheyenne, WY., Dustin Aaron Michaux of Cheyenne, WY., his aunt Gina Kay Reed, his nephew Jeff Allen Craig and wife Dedra of Colorado, niece Angel Denise Schmitt of Durant, OK., nephew Josh Lynn Craig of Colorado, James leaves behind two grandchildren, Ava and Laila. James also leaves behind many internet friends and many relatives in Michigan. All will miss him a lot.

The family has selected cremation, services will be private, at a later date.

Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, Durant.
