John Oscar Redmon

John was born on December 31, 1952, to Lillie Mae (Trawick) and Oscar Redmon in Greenwood, Louisiana.

John lived a portion of his life in Amarillo, Texas, but moved to Alva in December of 2019 to be closer to his daughter.

John lived a good life and passed peacefully in his sleep at the age of 67. John would like to let you know his work here is done. He has gone to a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time.

John is preceded in death by his wife Sara Redmon; his parents, Lillie Mae and Oscar Redmon; and a sister, Carlin Redmon Rodriguez.

He is survived by his sister, Betty Stevens of Arizona; brothers, Clifford Benson of Oklahoma and Steve Benson of California; his daughter, Brenda and husband Rodney Mustard of Alva; his son, Johnny Redmon of New Mexico; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
