Shirley Jane (Wade) Reddin

Shirley Jane (Wade) Reddin
September 14, 1940 ~ December 03, 2013

Shirley Wade Reddin, "Bam Bam", 73, of Norman, OK, died Tuesday, December 3, peacefully, in her home.

She was born to the late Clarence and Edith Wade, September 14, 1940, in Seminole, OK. Shirley graduated from Seminole High School. She later eloped and was married to the love of her life, Tom Reddin and they lived in Colorado, California and Texas before settling in Norman to raise their family. They celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in July.

Shirley was an ordained minister and organized a women's prison ministry for years as well as counseled many, dedicating her entire life to the presentation of her faith and the Gospel to everyone she met; serving was simply one of her many gifts. She loved her family, children, animals and nature. She was an avid cook and gardener, talented artist, seamstress and musician and traveled the world with her sisters and brothers in awe of God's work that is this wonderful world.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Tom, two children and their families: Scott Reddin, Andrea and Julia; Toni Edzards, J. Scott, Abby and Jake. Her two sisters and best friends, Gwen Danielson and Kathy Allen, also survive her.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made Dr. Charles Stanley, InTouch Ministries,
P.O. Box 7900, Atlanta GA 30357.

A private family celebration of her life will be held and memorials can be made at her guestbook at
