Tom began his life on July 28, 1941, in Wilmington, IL, the son of Frank William Rasor and Marjorie Marie (Brassard) Rasor. He was raised and attended school in Illinois. In the early 1980s, Tom and his family moved to Texas, and in 1991 they made Oklahoma their home.
Tom began his career in trucking at a young age and spent many years traveling the highways throughout the United States. Along with being a truck driver, he worked as a heavy equipment operator and diesel mechanic. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. His favorite pastime was fishing, and he also enjoyed hunting, drinking coffee with family and friends, watching WWE wrestling on television, and spending time watching classic westerns, especially his favorite, Gunsmoke.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald Lee Rasor and Robert Ray Rasor; sister, Leah Wiborg; and grandsons, John Evan Salsman and Jamison Crook Holmes.
Those left to cherish his memory are sons, Thomas Lee Rasor and John Wayne Rasor; daughters, Annette Marie Lewis, Heidi Jane Hill, and Dijoni Michelle Spears; stepsons, Joey Moore and Michael Nelson; 25 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Guy Wayne Rasor, William Lee Rasor, and stepbrother James Andrew Leadingham; sisters, Mary Jane Sinkular, Kathy Arlene Dailey, Ruby Jo Mosandel, Cheryl Lynn Veteto, and Marjorie Ann Bozarth; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends who will greatly miss him.
