Ramona Ann (Boston) Rarick
November 1, 1948 ~ March 29, 2011 (age 62)

Rarick, Ramona Ann, 62, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in Norman, Oklahoma.  She was born November 1, 1948 in Lusk, Wyoming to David and Betty (Stallman) Boston.  She was united in marriage to Joseph Rarick.  

Ramona was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years retiring from Griffin Memorial in 2006.  She took pride in her nursing and extended her caring to her children's friends who knew her as “Momma Mona”.  Her passion was her grandchildren who referred to her as “Grammy”.  She enjoyed spending time with Jennifer teaching her to cook, with Megan watching their favorite tv show, American Idol, and babying her only son, Michael.  She also enjoyed scrapbooking and shopping.

Ramona is survived by her husband, Joseph; two daughters, Megan Brendle and husband Matthew of Moore and Jennifer Means and husband Eric of Norman; one brother, David Boston and daughter Debbie of Eureka, CA; three grandchildren; Laila Means, Gavin Brendle and Novah Means; two aunts, Beverly Hoy and Naomi Strickfaden; and two nieces, Angel Boston and Moriah Boston.  

She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Rarick in 2004.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 1, 2011 in the Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home.
