Johnnie Eugene Ramsey, Sr.

Johnnie Eugene Ramsey, Sr.
February 12, 1949 ~ August 16, 2019 (age 70)

Johnnie Eugene Ramsey, Sr. passed from this life August 16, 2019. He was born February 12, 1949 in Tulare, CA to Carl and Wanda Ramsey.

Johnnie attended Capitol Hill High School and later went on to join the United States Army.

He married the love of his life, Marie Ramsey (Mahovlich) on April 30, 1968.

Johnnie loved fishing and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in passing by his parents; and his son, Eric Ramsey.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Marie Ramsey; sons, Johnnie Ramsey, Jr. and Patrick Ramsey; grandchildren, John Andon Ramsey, Katilyn Ramsey, Michael Ramsey, Kristian Ramsey, Jonathon Ramsey, Sasha Ramsey, Royce Ramsey, Desirea Ramsey and Sidney Ramsey; and great-grandchildren, Karter Ramsey and Aribella Ramsey. Johnnie is also survived by Shirley Richmond and her daughter, Rhonda, as well as a host of loving extended family and friends.

A memorial service to honor Johnnie’s life is 2:00pm, Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Chapel at Resthaven, 500 SW 104th St. Oklahoma City, OK 73139.
