Pamela Marguerite Rains passed from this life on May 2, 2026, in Calera, Oklahoma at the age of 69. She was born on April 28, 1957, in Wilmington, Delaware to Bobby Wayne Cooper and Avesta Ruth Crowder (Turner).
Pamela worked as a caregiver for many years. She enjoyed writing poems and drawing. She had an artistic side and loved very much to let her thoughts and feelings flow onto paper. Pamela also enjoyed crocheting. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved them immensely.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents; Bobby Wayne Cooper and Avesta Ruth Crowder (Turner), brother; Benjamin Cooper, sister; Debra Brewer, brother; Keith Cooper, and brother; Bobby Cooper.
Pamela is survived by her loving children; Misty Gregory of Sulphur, Oklahoma, Chastity Baken and spouse Steven Kaniatobe of Bokchito, Oklahoma, and Shaun Buckner and spouse Stephanie Buckner of Durant, Oklahoma, sister; Sharon Walker of Durant, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Tristian Rains, Jacoby John, Courtney John, Tahloa Baken, Raven Baken, Ryan Baken, and her great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Pamela will be held on May 8, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Brown’s Funeral Service chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Mr. Roy Flud officiating.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Services.
