As Dallas approached his 20’s, he then married Minnie Sue Ingram Kelly and they had two children, (Son) Dallas Lee Raines Jr. & (Daughter) Churise Raines, both born in New York. During this time he started working for Red Hook Chemical Company in Brooklyn, New York. Approaching his early 30’s he then divorced his wife Minnie and started working for the Long Island College Truck and Delivery Company. After a few years working with the company, he met his wife Peggy Herring in 1986. Together they welcomed three children: (Son) Leequan Herring in N.C. (Daughter) Krystal Herring in Oklahoma, (Son) Teriq Herring Oklahoma. Dallas & Peggy later moved to Manhattan, N.Y. Where he started working with New York City Sanitation in 1993. Then after eight years later, they moved to Bayside, New York, where they resided for eighteen years. Dallas then retired with twenty one years on the job in April 2013 from the New York City Sanitation Department badge #9675. After retirement, all Dallas wanted to do was be with family & friends and enjoying life as well as having amazing parties.
