Peggy Ann (Stewart) Quinn
January 13, 1952 ~ February 6, 2019

Peggy Ann Quinn, age 67, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on January 13, 1952, to John Ray Stewart and Ruth Stewart in Brownsville, Tennessee.

She was a high school graduate of Fayette Academy in Bolivar, Tennessee. She attended the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. She was married to Austin Quinn on September 8, 1972, he survives. Upon his graduation from optometry school they moved to Shawnee, Oklahoma, where he practiced for 43 years. Peggy went back to school and graduated from St. Gregory's University, Phi Theta Kappa. She then went to Oklahoma Baptist University and graduated Summa Cum Laude and received a degree in mathematics and computer science. She went to East Central University and received a master's degree in math education. She taught at St. Gregory's University and Seminole State College. She taught in the high school public education systems of Oklahoma for 27 years.

Services will be held at Wharton Funeral Chapel in Alva, Oklahoma, on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. Online condolences may be made at http://www.whartonfuneralchapel.com.
