Thank You For Your Service!

Patrick Allen Quinn

July 8, 1947 ~ July 22, 2008

Patrick Allen Quinn lived to be 61 years and 14 days. He was born at home in Crescent, Oklahoma on July 8, 1947 and died in the same home on July 22, 2008. On July 27, 1974 he married Kathleen Weis in San Francisco, California.

Pat was a quiet Christian man who enjoyed playing one of his many guitars, camping with his wife and his mother and reading his Bible and books by Stephen King and Dean Koontz. He collected many things, including 1959 Cadillac Minatures and versions of the song "Ghost Riders In The Sky". Believe it or not he had over 300 versions. Pat was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U. S. Army. He reenlisted in the Army after the war and later retired from the military as a Photo Lab Technician.

Pat is preceded in death by his father, Olen "Barney" Quinn, his mother, Katherine (Williams) Quinn, his brother, Michael Quinn. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen and their four cats, Rennie, Rocky, Slinky and Tiki, three aunts, one uncle and numerous cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 2, 2008 at the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Guthrie with Pastor Marvin Henschel officiating. In Lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to your favorite non-profit organization. Family and friends may sign the online questbook at abernathyaaron.com
