Graveside services for Peggy Dean Quick, 77, were held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 19 in the Furneaux Cemetery, Carrollton, Texas, with the Rev. Wendy Curran of the Holy Covenant United Methodist Church officiating.
Born December 3, 1931 in Pierson, the daughter of Robert and Blanche Larcade, she died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Chesterwood Village Nursing Facility, West Chester, Ohio.
A grand and beautiful lady, inside and out, Mrs. Quick had a wonderful sense of style, a great sense of humor, and a quick wit. She loved God, her husband, George, who preceded her in death in 1993, her children and grandchildren, and shopping.
Survivors included two sons and a special daughter-in-law, Mark Culbert of Burneyville and Mitch and Winnie Culbert of Hamilton, Ohio; a daughter and special son-in-law, Cyndi and Ed Thornton of Burneyville; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a special friend and sister-in-law, Jean Schell of Plano, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Ann Lacey and Jim Alexander of Oklahoma City; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and two brothers.
