Thomas J. “Tom” Qualls, III, 65, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020.

He was born September 25, 1954 in El Paso, Texas to Thomas and Maria (Nunez) Qualls.

Tom was raised and attended school in El Paso, Texas.

He moved to Oklahoma and resided in the Tecumseh area.

On December 10, 1996 Tom married Susie Smith in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Tom was a long distance truck driver where he worked for Welborn Trucking of Shawnee, OK and Gilbert Truck of Tecumseh, OK. Tom has traveled across the United States including Alaska and Canada.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers.

Tom is survived by his wife, Susie Qualls of the home; 1 son, Thomas J. Qualls IV and fiancée Harley Rath of Tecumseh, OK; 1 daughter, Rebecca Smith and life companion Doug McMahan of Tecumseh, OK; 1 granddaughter, Brailey McMahan of Tecumseh, OK; 2 sisters and 2 nieces, all of El Paso, TX; and other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Friday, July 17, 2020. Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Herman Searcy officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
