Margie Lou (Straw) Puthuff
March 03, 1931 ~ March 23, 2018

Margie Lou was born March 3, 1931, in Cherokee, to Frank and Nancy (Sallee) Straw. She passed away at Greenbrier Nursing Home in Enid March 23, 2018, at the age of 87 years and 12 days.   

She attended school at Short Springs, Oklahoma, and received her diploma. After high school, she began working for Bell Telephone Company as a telephone operator. 

May 1, 1964, in Oakland, California, she married William Luther Puthuff. They traveled to many different places while William served in the Coast Guard.   

She is preceded in death by her husband William, parents, four sisters, and two brothers.   

Margie is survived by her niece Darlene Malecki of Arlington Heights, Illinois;  nephew John Krob of Alva; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and friends.
