Randal Layne Pruitt

February 22, 1960 ~ December 27, 2021

 Randal Layne Pruitt, 61, of McAlester was welcomed home by man family members and friends on Monday, December 27, 2021.

Born February 22, 1960 to Kenneth Eugene and Imogene Pruitt, he departed this life in McAlester.

Born and raised in Marietta, Randy had many jobs in his life. Most recently he drove a truck cross country.

He could tell many stories about his adventures. He had spent many years in the Eufaula vicinity before moving to McAlester in 2018.

A confirmed bachelor, he had many friends and was liked by everyone around him. Randy always had a smile on his face and an easygoing demeanor that made him a favorite to many.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Imogene Pruitt, grandparents, Nola Howard and Bill Howard, and numerous aunts and uncles.

Survivors include aunts, Sylvia Barrick of Kermit, Texas, Ruby Watson of Gainesville, Texas and Nancy McMillen of Wilson, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services are pending.

This obituary included a photo of Mr. Pruitt.
