David was born the fourth of five children to Ed and Lucile (Rapp) Prochaska on Oct. 17, 1950.
David graduated from Carrier High School in 1968. He was active in basketvall and FFA.
David passed away suddenly at his home on July 20, 2017, in Wichita, Kan., where he has resided for many years.
He was preceded in death by both parents and all three brothers, Virgil, Larry, and Melvin.
He is survived by sister, Karen (Prochaska) Davie, and only daughter, Amy Hilligoss and husband Ray, and two granddaughters, Brady and Lily of Broken Arrow.
A memorial service is pending.
