James Donzel Price

March 26, 1969 ~ December 15, 2025

James Donzel Price was born in Kansas City March 26, 1969, to Keith and Janice (Whitmore) Craney. He passed away on December 15, 2025, in Oklahoma City at the age of fifty-six.

James joined Canaan Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He was multi-talented, very creative and artistic. At a young age he began cutting hair for the family and community. He loved to paint, draw, create and learned to play different instruments. James designed outfits that he performed in and choreographed the dance moves He wrote poetry which led him to song writing, rap, and hip-hop.

James was a member of the Kansas City Missouri Marching Cobras and Band. He was in the ROTC and at the age of ten, the group he was in won a breakdancing competition at McDonald’s on 59th and Troost. He performed at conference Cove, Kansas City Missouri. He wrote Different jingles for a few businesses in the community such as Howard Tenners Clothing Store and Gates BBQ Restaurant.

James leaves behind his family and friends to cherish his memory. We love you, James.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
