Gerald F. Price
April 19, 1926 ~ August 6, 2014 (age 88)

Gerald F. Price, 88, of Norman passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014, in Norman, Oklahoma. He was born April 19, 1926 to Virgil Price and Amy (Crawford) Price in Ada, Oklahoma.

Gerald was a WWII veteran Naval Seaman 1st class aboard the USS Kershaw. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Gerald attended East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma studying engineering. He served many years in the aerospace & nuclear energy field specializing in non-destructive testing and quality control in California, Washington, Illinois, Alaska, New Hampshire and Oregon. He recently moved to Oklahoma and was a resident at the Norman Veteran’s Center in Norman, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Evelyn; son, Dwight Price; sister, Helen Favors Norman, and daughter Joyce Swanson. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Price; daughters: Belinda Klumb, Gerri Butler and husband Mike, Sharon Flatbush and husband Frank, and Marilyn Swanson and husband Terry; 14 grandchildren,14 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren.

A private memorial service is pending.  

Gerald and his family have been placed in the care of the Vice Family at Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, OK.  Online condolences may be shared at www.HavenbrookFuneralHome.com
